Rev. Dr. Jamie Washington is the Founder of the Washington Consulting Group, a Multicultural Organizational Development Firm out of Baltimore, MD and Co-Founder of the Social Justice Training Institute.
In October of 2015, the Washington Consulting Group was named by the Economist as one of the Top 10 Global Diversity Consultants in the world, and one of two selected from the US. Dr. Washington has served as an educator, administrator, and consultant in higher education for over 32 years. Dr. Washington serves as the President and a Founder of the Social Justice Training Institute and has served as Visiting Professor of Salem State University.
Dr. Washington serves as the Chair of the board for Many Voices, A Black Church Movement for LGBT person: on the faculty of Camp Pride and a board member Campus Pride, and Beyond Diversity. He serves as a trustee for the American College Personnel Association. He is on the faculty of Lancaster Theological Seminary Summer Academy and on the board for Vanderbilt School of Divinity Creating Welcoming Churches project and serves on the Advisory Board for the LGBT History Museum. He also serves as a Lead faculty member with Leadershape, Lead365, and proud member of ODK.
Dr. Washington earned his B.S. degree from Slippery Rock State College, and a double Masters' of Science degrees from Indiana University/Bloomington. He holds a Ph.D. in College Student Development, from the University of Maryland College Park. Dr. Washington also holds a Masters of Divinity from Howard University School of Divinity.
He is a writer, speaker, coach, consultant, teacher and trainer. He has spoken all over the US, as well as in Canada and South Africa. He is a life member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., the Co-Pastor of Unity Fellowship church of Baltimore and shares his life with his partner the Rev. Sam Offer and is the proud grandfather of 7 and great uncle to 5.
Known as “The Engagement Specialist”, he sees himself as an instrument of change. He works every day to help people find the best in themselves and others. He lives by the words of one of his favorite songs:

Kathy Obear, Ed. D., is the President of the Alliance for Change Consulting and Coaching and Co-Founder of The Social Justice Training Institute.
Dr. Kathy Obear has over 30 years of experience as an organizational development consultant and trainer specializing in creating inclusion, team and organizational effectiveness, conflict resolution, and change management. She has given speeches, facilitated training sessions, and consulted to top leaders at hundreds of universities, human service and K-12 organizations, and corporations across the United States and internationally designed to increase the passion, competence, and commitment to create inclusive, socially just environments for all members of the organization. She has facilitated “training of trainers” programs for student affairs professionals, faculty, and student leaders at numerous colleges and universities.
Dr. Obear is a Co-Founder of the Social Justice Training Institute (www.sjti.org) and is regarded as an expert at training leaders and facilitators to navigate difficult dialogues and triggering events. She is a certified Life Coach and Executive Coach and delights in supporting people reach their potential and live their best life.
